Nick Fought, Owner & Fitness Coach
Nick is the owner of Hard Fought Fitness. Opening this gym has been a dream come true for him - because he always envisioned creating an environment that others could feel comfortable and confident in while training. His goal is for people of all ages, body types, and fitness levels to find success while receiving individualized attention during their workout to ensure proper and safe technique.
Nick's journey with fitness began as a child playing multiple sports. He has a strong background in strength training and conditioning. Nick studied Sports and Exercise Sciences at Columbus State where he also played Division I Junior College baseball. Nick is a N.C.C.P.T. certified personal trainer and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. He also coaches football, wrestling, and baseball in Hilliard.
Nick's patience, fitness experience, and knowledge in the field have contributed to his drive to build a community-based gym with a family feel among members. Nick is a longtime Hilliard resident along with his wife Hilary. They have two children, Deagan and Delaney.
Hilary Fought, Co-Owner & Media Director
Hilary works behind the scenes to manage our website and social media. Hilary also helps in developing activities and nutrition lessons for our youth fitness programs - Kinder Fit, Strong Squad, Fit 4 Life, and Cheer Fit. She has a passion for helping others set goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
Hilary studied education at Ohio University and is a teacher in Hilliard, while currently pursuing her masters in Special Education through Notre Dame College. She also coaches Varsity Competition Cheer and Football Cheer at Hilliard Bradley High School.
Ally Duckworth, Fitness Coach
Ally is knowledgeable, experienced, and energetic about helping others reach their fitness potential. She is a former competitive gymnast. She won the Ohio Capital Conference 3x as an individual, and she was a 3x OHSAA Gymnastics State Qualifier - placing 3rd in Ohio (2015). Ally then went on to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She is a CrossFit Games Regional Athlete (2017), and currently in the top 1% of CrossFitters in the world!
Ally is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University where she studied Exercise Science. She is also a former Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Ally has a unique skill set with her gymnastics background, experience in CrossFit, and strong knowledge base. Her overall passion for fitness blends well with her kind and positive personality, making her one incredible coach!
Jasmine Ross, Fitness Coach
Jasmine has incredible energy and enthusiasm to motivate others in reaching for their goals. With six years of experience in track and field (sprinting) and a drive to never stop improving, Jasmine works daily to follow her passion in fitness and sharing her knowledge with others. While currently studying psychology and criminology at The Ohio State University, she continues to build her knowledge of the fitness and training world - with a plan to compete in bodybuilding in the future.
Nate Strong, Fitness Coach
No pun intended, his last name really is Strong - and he is just that. As a former professional powerlifter, Nate earned his pro card in the mid-2000’s. He has a wealth of knowledge in the areas powerlifting, strength, conditioning, and sports performance training. Nate has experience with baseball and football, and has a passion for helping young athletes develop to their best potential.
Tracy Ellis, Zumba Instructor
Tracy offers a change up from the typical work out routine with her challenging, yet always exciting classes. She uses a combination of Latin and pop music to design a full body workout, tailored to meet the needs of all fitness levels and dance experience. She creates an environment that is encouraging and supportive. Aside from her time spent at the gym, Tracy enjoys participating in various “fun runs” and stays active by trying new things.
